We are currently waiting for confirmation if District 24 will be hosting a fall league for players 9-12 years old. We are supposed to find out in the upcoming weeks during our next District 24 meeting. In order to be prepared, we request that anyone interested please email us ([email protected]) to let us know you are interested so we can determine if we will have one or two teams (or hopefully more!!). We do not have a separate sign-up at this time until we get further information from District 24.
We are working on a back up plan in the event that District 24 does not have a fall league for this age group.
Based on previous years, the fall league was structured as follows:
1. Ages are 9 - 12. Graduating 12's can play, but cannot pitch unless otherwise agreed upon by each team before the game. Upcoming 9's (current season 8 year olds) can also play.
2. Games will start the Tuesday after labor day and will be played through the 2nd week of October.
3. We will play other D24 teams and there will be some travel.
4. The games are for fun and they don't keep score.
5. Games will be played twice a week (a weeknight and Saturday).
6. The goal would be to get 10-14 games in during this timeframe.
7. We can start practicing at our preference.
